Today was the day that Minecraft finally received piston. It has been long awaited. This is great and all but I would have rather seen an update with more features. The adventure update is now pushed back to 1.8 and Notch has said it will be a while until that comes out. But i can't really complain. Pistons are a welcomed edition to the Minecraft vanilla. Now our attention is shifted to the next update, 1.8, with Adventure mode and hopefully the "sky realm".

Web Browsers.
So I like to use Google Chrome as my main browser. My grandmother, who isn't very tech savvy, had no idea there were other web browsers other than the one she uses, Safari. I had to show that there are other options and why people would prefer those options over the default that come with your operating system. But if you think about it, why would she need to understand this. It's not that important and it doesn't even matter. Safari does what she wants and that is what is useful to her. Also, people of her generation didn't grow up with computers and the technology we have today. It is new to them.
A Google A Day.
I noticed while on my Google homepage that there was a question. I clicked on it and it brought me to a website, agoogleaday.com. Just another reason why Google is badass! Google FTW.
P.S. The answer for today is 9 furlongs.

MacBook Pros are amazing.
On Saturday, I received my very first laptop, a MacBook Pro. I prefer to not use Windows. I think the user interface is just not as good as Apple's Mac OS X. OS X is just 'clean'. The MacBook Pro is sleek and just looks great. This is by far one of the best computers for my needs.
First post.
This blog is dedicated to anything nerdy that a teenager, like myself, would like! That includes tech, pics, and just about anything that I deem worthy.
