These are by far the best pair of shoe I have ever purchased. I got them about a year after first seeing them. You get a lot of looks in public, and I always seem to get the same question of , "Are they comfortable?" Yes they are, and most people think they are water shoes, which they aren't. You could use them for that need if you wanted to but the are mainly, for me at least, running shoes. I recommend the KSOs. If you have up to $100 dollars to spend on shoes, you should definitely get a pair. You can look into them VFFs here: vibramfivefingers.com
On a side note, I broke my foot in these playing soccer, but then again I am a teenager. I would still recommend these shoes though, just not for soccer. Also, when running, be careful not to drag your toes because they will tear. It happened to me twice, but the store I bought them from was nice enough to replace them for me.

FaceTime vs. Skype.
I don't like FaceTime. I love apple and what it puts out, but I really don't like FaceTime. I only use it because my friends don't use Skype. Even if Skype is a product of Microsoft, I still prefer it to FaceTime. The interface for Skype (at least on Macs), is very good and is better than FaceTimes interface. The other problem I have with FaceTime is it isn't cross-platform. I can only use FaceTime with other people on Apple devices, and those of which i use it with use it on iPod touches or iPads. That means for me, I get bad quality video from there end of the "call". Skype is completely different. It is cross-platform and has a better "feel" to it. I especially don't like ooVoo, though. I never got into that fad and didn't like how people posted screenshots to their Facebook account. FaceTime and ooVoo are just lesser versions of Skype.
